We knew the Supremes were out of touch but I think they’ve gone completely Rogue! The originalist view of the Constitution is asinine: white males first invaded a foreign land, then slaughtered the Natives; then went to Africa to break up families & import slaves; women were second class citizens and we are supposed to go back and imagine what the founders intended from that vantagepoint? Thankfully, the basic principles were sound: free speech; equal protection; limits on searches, etc. but our world is so different today we need a 2022 lens (which too many of the current Justices lack).
